Weekly Photo Challenge: Perspective: Perspective is important to every photographer. With the creative use of perspective narrowed down through the lens of a camera, a bit of gravel can look like a barren desert landscape or a few trees can trick the eye into thinking you’re deep in a centuries-old forest. This week’s photo challenge is about perspective: post a photo which is not what it seems to be.

Peacocks usually fan their feathers for mating purpose but in this case the peacock was trying to protect himself from a herd of crowd goers trying to catch a glimpse of him wandering around the zoo.  Some people may see this as a sign of a peacock showing off but really they’re just trying to protect themselves.  It’s all a matter of perspective!

“You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view… Until you climb inside of his skin and walk around in it.” – Harper Lee … This picture was of a homeless man in the streets of New Orléans who bummed for a cigarette to stay warm during the winter.  The smoke behind him was from the thick fog that night which created an illusion that he was a heavy smoker.

Isn’t this corgi just adorable?  Unfortunately Mia wasn’t posing for the camera, she was hiding from the kids because they were playing too rough with her.  She’s a gentle soul and had to find her “peaceful” place which was underneath the bed.  😦
